Asbestos Surveyors Ringwood. An Asbestos Refurbishment & Demolition survey was carried out in Ringwood, Hampshire by Danguard for Mr & Mrs R. The property was due to be demolished.
Our asbestos surveyors found that the soffits were Asbestos Insulating Board (AIB). Unfortunately, they were applied to the whole of the perimeter of the house. Whilst surveying the property it was evident that ‘Artex’ ceilings were throughout all of the ceilings. Asbestos Insulating Board is a licenced product and can only be removed by a licensed asbestos company. An enclosure will need to be erected to the whole of the outside whilst the soffits are removed.
Fortunately, the demolition company had the hindsight to instigate an asbestos survey before works were started!
