Asbestos Survey Shaftesbury.
Danguard Asbestos Surveyors carried out an asbestos survey in Shaftesbury. The new owners were worried after purchasing the property that there may be asbestos present. Danguard carried out the survey and indeed found asbestos present throughout most of the house. Although there was much found, it was all contained within the ‘Artex’ applied to the ceilings. Artex contains a very low asbestos content and if in good condition poses no hazard. However, if disturbed/scraped then there is a great potential for fibre release. Artex is not a licensed product but should be removed under semi-controlled conditions.
