Asbestos Management Survey
Danguard recently carried out this asbestos management survey in New Milton, Hampshire.
This is the second of two units on the Stem Lane Industrial Estate where Danguard has carried out a survey for asbestos management.
These units were all constructed in the 70’s and if not already removed, contain asbestos insulating board boxing around the steels to the ground floor. Asbestos insulating board is a licensed asbestos and therefore has to be removed by a licensed asbestos contractor because of its high content of asbestos fibres. If it’s in good condition then it should not be removed.
Other asbestos products found in this unit included floor tiles & textured coating (Artex) on the ceilings.
An asbestos management plan was produced after the asbestos survey was completed. The report detailed that only minor remedial works were required to make the asbestos safe.
